The Baseload Market Reference Price (BMRP) for the calculation season Summer 2022, which covers 1 April 2022 to 30 September 2022 is 168.25 £/MWh. This is now published on the Settlement Data for CfD Generators section on the EMRS website.
How will the BMRP be used?
BMRP is used to calculate CfD payments to Baseload Generators for Baseload Difference Amounts. When the BMRP is below a pre-agreed £/MWh value (Strike Price), as set out in a CfD Generator’s contract, top-up payments are made by LCCC to the CfD Generator to make up the difference between the BMRP and the Strike Price. When the BMRP is above the Strike Price, the CfD Generator pays LCCC the difference.
