Launch of My EMRS is coming soon!

Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC), the Electricity Settlements Company (ESC) and EMRS are excited to announce the launch of My EMRS on 1 June 2021.

This is a new digital solution for Capacity Providers, CfD Generator and electricity Suppliers to register and maintain their registration details. Moving these processes to a digitalised platform provides numerous benefits, such as a paperless registration process, reduction of manual processes and provides a real-time view of registration details.

We have produced a short video to show you My EMRS and highlight some of the key features in advance of the launch.

What is the last day EMRS will accept Registration and Amendment forms?

EMRS will accept Registration and Amendment forms up until 24 May 2021. This is to ensure these are processed before migrating all existing EMR Party Registration details. Any forms received after this date will be rejected unless deemed urgent for payment of invoices or credit notes.

When and who will be given access to My EMRS?

Authorised Contacts, during 1 June 2021 to 11 June 2021 will receive a ‘Welcome to My EMRS’ email. This email will provide a unique link to register and once registered, the Authorised Contact will be able to access their registration details by clicking on ‘View/Amend Existing Party Details’.

Authorised Contacts, include Primary Party Authority, Finance Authority, Operating Authority and Trading Contacts will be able to access My EMRS. Please note Credit Cover Contacts and Users will not have access. G4 – EMR Settlement Authorisations provides details on the privileges against each Authorised Contact role.

Who will be able to access My EMRS?

Will I have multiply login details for each EMR Party that I am an Authorised Contact for?

You will only have one login for My EMRS allowing you to view all EMR Parties you are associated with as an Authorised Contact.

Who can make amendments in My EMRS?

Primary Party Authority, Finance Authority and Operating Authority can make amendments.

Trading Contact can amend the channel for CMVRN notifications preference.

What amendments are restricted?

These registration details are restricted as follows:

  • CfD Generators: Your Company Name, Company Number, CfD ID, Project Name and Address are part of the contract and requests must be made directly with LCCC to amend these details.
  • Suppliers: Company Name and Company Number changes are validated against the information held by Ofgem.
  • Capacity Providers: Company Name changes are validated against the information held by the EMR Delivery Body.

Bank Account amendments will need to be verified and EMRS will contact a relevant Authorised Contact (either a Primary Party Authority or a Finance Authority) to verbally confirm bank details.

How do I view my Authorised Contacts?

If registered on My EMRS, you click ‘View/Amend Existing Party Details’. Select Contact Details to view your Authorised Contacts. From here you can add or remove Authorised Contacts to keep your details up to date.

How do I generate a new password if I have forgotten it?

You can generate a password at any time by clicking on Forgot password? An email is generated containing a reset password link and upon receipt click on the link to reset your password.

Note, WP31 – Amending EMR Party Details will become obsolete from 1 June 2021 as the amendment processes will be amalgamated into the registration Working Practices.

Why do we have My EMRS and EMR Settlement Portal?

We have two separate portals for EMR Parties, which provide two separate services for our customers:

  • EMR Settlement Portal is a repository, which includes invoices, billing statements, credit notes, reports, metered data, notices and backing data for the EMR Party to download.
  • My EMRS provides new and existing EMR Parties to register and maintain these registration details with us.
